Upcoming Shows
I’m grateful to share that work from my Echoes of the Frontier series has been accepted into the Phippen Museum’s 52nd Annual Western Art Show & Sale (2026). The Phippen has long been an important part of the Western art conversation, and being included in the show means a great deal to me.
This series grows out of a long relationship with the landscape and material culture of the Southwest. Earlier in my career, I reproduced prehistoric Native American ceramics for major museum collections, which shaped how I think about form and surface. I also continue to contribute landscape photography to Arizona Highways, keeping me closely connected to the land that informs this work.
I’m thankful to the jurors and the Phippen Museum for the opportunity to share this work alongside artists I admire.

As renowned artist Piet Mondrian once said, "abstract art is not the creation of another reality but the true vision of reality." These artists are utilizing abstraction as a form of expression as well as independence from artistic constraints as they explore their subject and medium.
